Day 222 - 229

It was all about the football betting this week. No poker and no other gambling to chat about, just my skill (and luck) as a football betting man.

Day 221

Went to the liverpool game so had a few bets before the game, had 4-0 (which was the scoreline) but had gerrard to score the first goal as well), typical luck. My double came in though making me £18.00 up on the betting. Lost another £10.00 on the fruit machine, £3.00 in a quiz machine and £1.00 on golden goal, so my betting is again very disappointing.

Day 218 & 219

These two days just go to show that I haven't really leanrt my lesson when it comes to gambling. Day 218 I played Omaha cash and found myself 150$ up when I got involved in a hand that saw me lose all $150 making me a total of £0.88 up. I then played cash on day 219 and found myself 200$ down on the day, so I played an omaha comp on party poker instead. I managed to come 2nd in that and ended up a total of £14.08 down.

In terms of the weight situation I didn't change the last week. I'm not happy that I seem to be stuck on the same weight, but I'll keep plugging away..

Day 216

My mum's sister passed away after a long battle against illness, it's a sad time and a time where gambling pails into insignificance, although it does hammer home the fact that life is for living and life itself is the ultimate gamble, no-one knows when they will lose their gamble, so its best to look at every day in a special way. I know it is difficult sometimes because work can get you down, arguements get you down, little things happen that annoy you, but I bet if you looked hard enough there is some sort of good in every day

Played poker with some mates instead of going to the round of each, had a good laugh despite the fact that it was strictly hold-em only, you know how much that game does my head in....

Ended up a full £3.00 down.
